Here  is another story about drunk driving

As she sits in the waiting room, looking out at the night that had brought her in this place. Worried for many lives, the Hospital was the worst place to be.
Looking back at what had happened, she was lucky she had put on her seatbelt.
She went through every little detail mentally, about what had happened only a short time ago.

Her and her five friends had been to a party, with drinking and drugs, a normal teenage party. It was her turn to drive, so she stayed sober, for the saftey of her friends, as well as herself. Despite the temptation to drink, she held herself together, and just talked with her friends.
As the party ended, she rounded up her five friends and loaded them into her Suv, she had not been drinking and was happy that her friends trusted her, and was sure to get everyone home in one peice.

Driving down the road, she told everyone to put on their seatbelts, this was just a habbit for her, as she was brought up to wear a seatbelt while in a car.

Only one of her friends had listned, and strapped up.

Comming up to a red light, she started to slow down, and finally came to a stop. She looked in her review mirror and noticed a guy speeding up towards her pretty fast. The light turned green and she started to drive again, but the guy kept comming up behind her faster and faster and she was starting to panic, but not let it show through to her friends.

She was comming up to another intersection, the car right on her back bumper, He must have been someone from the party, and he was drunk by the looks of it.

She noticed the light had turned red, and the road was busy.

she didn't know what to do.. tke the chance and run it... or slow down and be hit, by the guy behind her.

Comming up closer, and closer to the light... she decided to run it... just go for it.. and as she started to speed up, holding her breath, she was going through

she could have made it, except for the fact thatthe guy behind her was trying to pass and cut her off, causing her to spin out of controol, and having another car, going the oppiste way t-bone her.
She woke up a few minutes later, looking around, she was on a stretcher, and noticed her friends being put into seperate ambulances. And the drunk driver sitting on the side of the road, crying.

The girl started to panic, what happened to her friends, were they ok, where's her family, what would people think of her?

She now sits in the waiting room, worring for her friends lives, starting to weep.. she hears some bad news..

Her one friend who had been wearing her sealtbelt, died, due to sevear whiplash, two of her friends who were thrown from the car, where paralized, and the other two who were sitting in the back, smashed their heads off the windows and were unconcious.

All because he took the chance to drive drunk.

WENT TO A PARTY, MOM
Please read all the way to the bottom
I went to a party,
And remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I had a Sprite instead.
I felt proud of myself,
The way you said I would,
That I didn't drink and drive,
Though some friends said I should.
I made a healthy choice,
And your advice to me was right.
The party finally ended,
And the kids drove out of sight.
I got into my car,
Sure to get home in one piece.
I never knew what was coming,
Mom something I expected least.
Now I'm lying on the pavement,
And I hear the policeman say,
The kid that caused this wreck was drunk,
Mom, his voice seems far away.
My own blood's all around me,
As I try hard not to cry.
I can hear the paramedic say,
This girl is going to die.
I'm sure the guy had no idea,
While he was flying high,
Because he chose to drink and drive,
Now I would have to die.
So why do people do it,
Mom,
Knowing that it ruins lives?
And now the pain is cutting me,
Like a hundred stabbing knives.
Tell sister not to be afraid,
Mom Tell Daddy to be brave,
And when I go to Heaven,
Put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have taught him,
That it's wrong to drink and drive.
Maybe if his parents had, I'd still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter,
Mom,
I'm getting really scared.
These are my final moments,
And I'm so unprepared.
I wish that you could hold me,
Mom,
As I lie here and die.
I wish that I could say,
"I love you, Mom!"
So,
I love you and good-bye.

This all came from stories i have found.
